I told you I'd be back.

Yes, that's right true believers I am indeed back. Not exactly back with a vengeance or anthing like that just back for a blog or two. So I've moved out on my own, well not alone. Elizabeth and I about 3 weeks ago moved into the Embassy Apartments in Jonesboro and have been enjoying it ever since. It's been a very nice experience and has me looking forward to spending the rest of my life with the woman I love.
Other than that I've just been working on sculpture and what not. As a matter of fact I just hacked the Art Student Union email to ask for help with empty laundry detergent bottles. I didn't really hack, I was a previous president and knew the password...still felt cool, seeing as how I'm not a member anymore and shouldn't be using the email...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Craziness

So...since my last blog, I'm sure you're all wondering what's been going on in my life...for those not in the know, that's sarcasm. Well lets see...not a whole lot has been going on. Just being stupid. I will say this, the Chuck E. Cheese in Jonesboro, FANTASTIC. That's right, they let 23 yr olds in there without kids...funny side know, you're not allowed if you're under 18yr. It's like a club for families...YEAH!
I also got a couple pet hamsters the other day. Well Elizabeth got them for me. Herbert, well he'll bite the holy hell out of a finger if you let him and Zabby, well she sleeps all day.
The craziest thing thus far however took place at work on Saturday, Feburary 4th, 2006. It all started off as another boring morning wasted at work. I had finished my notes for the day and off and on helped Chad, the guy in Garden Center, with his notes. Then after wasting 5 1/2 hours, we got to go to lunch at 12:30. Why? Because Dave came into work. Now I know you don't know these people, but knowing them isn't important to the story. So, I come back to work after an hour and when I enter the back hallway I see Chad standing in the stairwell with a huge gun safe. The biggest one we sell in fact, it stands a whopping 4ft tall and weighs a whopping 328lbs. So I think to myself, I'm glad I wasn't here earlier to mess with that. Then Chad looks at me and says find Kari, our manager. Now I know something is wrong and run to clock on and I find Kari in the break room, she had overheard Chad telling me that. That being said I run back to the stairwell to see Dave laid back on the stairs, pale (later realize from blood loss) with another associate, Cindi, huddled over his foot. When she moved I saw Dave's big toe had become...bigger and had turned the deepest color of purple it could before turning black. As they took care of Dave, I took care of the gunsafe sell. Well an hour or so later, Dave's toe still hasn't stopped bleeding and well let the good times roll, so off to the ER in WR for almost 6 hours and well yup, he's off work with multiple fractures or something, he was drugged up when I talked to him that night. But at least he gets to keep his toe, many who saw it, including myself, were afraid that the toe, well was destroyed and would be done away with. Honestly, this was one of the craziest things to happen in my 4 yrs there...funny story, the year before I was hired, or a couple years actually, the store manager and personel (SP?) manager got fired for getting caught upstairts in the security room, doing the nasty. Yup, who said work can't be interesting.

It's good to be me.

Captain's Log, Stardate 01-09-2006.
School has begun and to celebrate Chris, Elizabeth and myself went to see Hostel last night. Great movie, GREAT. Guest starred Miike Takahashi...for those who don't know, he is the God of freak you out gore movies. When he popped up the movie was from then on good because it signified the beginning of the craziness. Everyone should see this movie.
As I stated school has started, Elizabeth had her first class at 8am and goes until about 4pm in the afternoon. Myself, well I only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday. So what did I do. Well I went and...well first let me tell a story within a story. My mother has some wonderful jewelery. An example is a pair of earrings she owns which she has held onto to offer to my brother and myself to allow them to be made into rings, that's right, engagement rings...See where this is going? Well she's shown them to Elizabeth and myself and we were extremely delighted with them. So today, my mother and myself went to Jonesboro to look at jewelers and see about getting the 5 diamond cluster put onto a engagement ring setting. The first jeweler we stopped at, George's, gave us such a good price for the placing of the cluster and sizing of the ring that we couldn't pass it up. So on Saturday I'll have an engagement ring!
Here's the thing though, we had already decided on a date for our wedding, so Elizabeth know's the ring is coming, it's no big surprise...I wish it was, but we had done research and it seems a lot of people get engaged then pick the ring out so that it's easier on the guy and the girl gets a ring that she likes...easy right?
So that all being said, if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm getting married!

What's this? A Blog, you say?

So yeah, I'm not back with a new web layout or anything cool like that...sorry. So this is what's been going on with me lately. My wonderful girlfriend has moved in with my family and myself and will be attending ASU next semester and onward through May 2007. I recently broke my left pinky toe, the day after Christmas...I went to work afterwards for 5 hours, this being before I knew it was broken. When I got home, there sticking up was a bone trying to come out of the top of my toe and as for my toe...well it was swollen and black...simply put, Awesome. My mom also had surgery on her right foot to correct some troubles she's had with arthritis. The cut tendons and bones to straighten her toes again, the next day off to wally world she went...crazy how far surgery has come. Speaking of Wally World...well it still sucks...the sad part is they posted the they're recruiting for management and after talking to a girl who did that last year, well I'm debating whether or not to do it...more money, more ideas for artwork, more stress, more hate...so who knows. Well that's about it. Hope all is well with everyone else. Cobra-la and all that jazz.

VIVA EDDIE GUERRERO

I know many of you find wrestling to be something of an embarrassment to society. I however love it and thrive on it. Honestly if I could do anything my dreams as a child were to be a comic book artist or a wrestler. Simply put one of my earliest memories are of my dad and myself sitting watching Sting and Ric Flair wrestle, it was the feud of the mid 80's and it was the first time Sting won the WCW Title. Why do I remember that, wrestling is one of the things that bond myself to my father, it's a love we share. So that being said I was saddened to hear that on Sunday morning one of my personal favorites, Eddie Guerrero, had passed away. It's said that on Sunday morning he met up with some of his co-wrestlers for breakfast and afterwards returned to his room and wasn't seen for some time. When friends went to look they found him in the bathroom with toothbrush still in his mouth, dead. The cause of death is believed to be heart failure. Guerrero, when I was young, amazed me with his high flying style in the ring and his antics later on in his career and even stole one of my beliefs in life "Cheat to Win". Guerrerro amazed me later in life when, after being fired from WWE for drug abuse, entered into rehab and some months later made a successful return to the ring to later become champ. Yes, the matches and winners are planned and known ahead of time, but like everyone in the business and everyone who watches, it was known, Eddie Guerrero earned that belt and the honor of holding and defending it for the year that he did. So this blog is just to honor the fact that a man who deserved a longer life, who enjoyed pleasing the fans that came to see him perform night after night and who had overcome so many odds and demons that had destroyed so many others has passed away and will be greatly missed. Viva, Eddie Guerrero.

Success!

So yeah I've been helluva busy lately...sarcasm at it's finest. No, truthfully things have been a little hectic with school and all. You know end of semester...no matter how hard you try it happens, regardless of what is done in preperation. So since the last post I've read The Island of Dr. Moreau...quite honestly one of the best books I've read, ever. The Invisible Man...proving to be a tougher read...but I will fight and finish it. Other than that...lot of prints just go pumped out tonight 4 editions of 5 prints to be exact...just one silk screen layer so it wasn't anything major but they go together as one big piece so I was proud. So that's been about it. Ciao, Cobra-lalalalalalalalalalalala!
